The hotel was clean, efficient, and was a decent location from the main Sydney area. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially when our flight was delayed and we needed to use a restroom.

The rooms are so spacious, lighting makes sense immediately, there is plenty of milk in fridge, lots of teabags, even some biscuits (gratis) - lots of great old fashioned little touches. The TV goes straight to TV!! (no messing around with menus). Bed is very comfortable. It's not luxury, but everything is up to scratch and it's sensible 'good hotel' provision at a very nice price.

The staff were great. They were very helpful and lovely to talk to. The location was perfect and I would often take the 30 min walk into the city. It was very close to everything including a variety of places to eat and Woolworths Metro was conveniently just around the corner. The king size bed was comfortable and the room was clean and a decent size for 3 adults.

Check-in/check-out was seamless. The night audit staff was the BEST. Super friendly and down to earth. The daytime employees, the Filipinos/Filipinas were nice and friendly. The lobby bar downstairs was nice during the night. The ladies who were working that night told us we were the first 'Aperol Spritz' their bar had made, since having newly opened. Perfect launching point for our night. There's a bar/restaurant across the street (The Strand) that has a rooftop bar as well, and down the street is "Slims", another rooftop bar which was recommended by the staff at the Sydney Boulevard hotel. The hotel's WiFi had great connectivity. The room was spacious for our needs, and the "City View" was exactly that! Such great views! The fitness room was nice having a sauna and steam room. The equipment was plentiful, and that view from that treadmill--amazing!
